Jenna-Louise Coleman (born 27 April 1986) is an English actress, known for appearing in the British soap opera Emmerdale. She is due to portray the next companion to the Doctor in the British sci-fi series Doctor Who, and appeared in the series seven opener, "Asylum of the Daleks" as Oswin Oswald. She is due to begin her role as companion Clara in the 2012 Christmas Special "The Snowmen".
